Why we built Rushdesk

Most helpdesk software is heavy. It runs on Node.js or Rails, requires 1 GB of RAM just to idle, and ships with megabytes of JavaScript that slow down every page load. We wanted something different: a single binary that cold-starts in under 500 ms, idles at less than 100 MB RAM, and is deployable on a $6/month VPS.

What makes Rushdesk different

  • Email-first. Every inbound email becomes a tracked ticket with full threading, attachments, and audit history.
  • AI with HITL controls. Our HITL / HOTL / AUTO autonomy model means AI drafts replies and your agents approve them — or you can dial up automation safely per ticket type.
  • Thai + English UI. Built-in from day one. No plugin, no extra license.
  • Single binary. No Node.js, no Python, no Java at runtime. One `rushdesk` binary handles everything.
